You need a motorcycle! I know petrol is the devil, but a 1980's(electric ignition) 200cc-500cc little cruiser is a godsend when the cars are down.

New update Wink

had time for a couple hours last weekend, and started on the pressure tubing

Vband clamb straight on the turbo with custom bend
The gate from the cooler to intake started on

Turboside done, just ad 5cm into the hose

velded 4" alu bend, and 4" airfilter that is 6" long. just not enoght space, so think I will make a hole and put the tip of the filter out in the fender

And had a few hour yesterday, and made the last bit on the tube from turbo

Funny pic, one set of tyres, wide as the car :p

added a suport on the long tube

and finish, hope this wil take up some boost! Smile

I also got in a New coolant hose, that have been leaking a bit, hope that will hold now. And I have got price for a "racing" pedalbox, and will get one. Also got some New springs, that I will try in the rear to get the car more stiff. And I bought a lazer measure thing to measure the RPM on the engine, so I can calibrate the RPM gauge Smile

This weekend it was trackday again, and before that I got the pedalbox mounted. Got deelayed With getting the car ready, but finaly i got the car loaded up on my new daily and ready to hit the track Smile

Got some laps and some adjustments on the pedalboks, Works better now Smile After ended day, I took the car back to the garage, and i Got a couple friends helped me With some more things. Have a bit problem With the heat still, so opened the thermostate. We also got in New rear springs, as it was to soft at the rear end.

Ready to New day on the track! Still problem With the heat, but have now got a tip from EDH_performanse that I will try! New trackday on thursday Smile

Had a gopro on the car one lap, so I will get out one film Smile

Wednesday I was going to put in the New wheelbering, it kinda needed it..

But the hub was also damaged Sad

Lucky to have good friends I got a New hub from one friend..

...and another friend tok the hub and machined it late evening

After this I didn get any pics, but the front bumper was drilled to get more air in, expansioncontainer was mounted and some adjustments was done and finaly the new bearing was mounted in the New hub Smile
Tok the car up on the trailer, and want out to Rudskogen Motorsenter and Toyota Trackday thursday Smile Was still some minor adjustments, but Things was starting to really work now Smile

I am still looking after pics from the driving, but havent found any jet, but here is a small videoclip Smile

It very fun now, but still more power availeble Smile it would only give 2,1bar boost, have to make new adjustment to Get it up yo 2,5-3bar, and its still much more to give on the Low boost to earlier spoolup etc. Smile Would love to Get one more trackday to test and adjust it some more, but dont know if there is any more.. :/

The biggest problem is the clutch, 3plated Tilton will take out the most gearboxes Smile must put on a Tilton valve on it. The box have worked fine on track, and with some clutch beating there also Smile not sure jet, about what I will do now, 1 mount the 717.411 box that I have in spare, 2 6speed cdi box or 3 get a BMW box or something rewelded. 1 and 2 are the closest choice atm Smile

if you get a 6 speed, you need to choppe it 2cm of the bellhousing, or it won't reach the bearing in the crank, and thats mostly the smartest idea :p
the 6 spees is good Wink
the bmw i also good, i have a single 4 puck and a m5 performance plate on mine, and that's pretty on and off that to :p

On my sixspeed conversion i made a little adapter that fits on the shaft so that it reaches the crank, took about 20min to fabricate with a lathe.

Btw i use this finnish made flywheel with a sachs 765 pressureplate and 4-puck clutchdisk.

Yes I can turn it Down a bit on the alda, but it ist adjusted up much at all. But I have about zero boost before 3000rpm, and it slams right on 2,6 bar on 3100-3200rpm. With compuond I can get the boost from about 2000rpm and more power and drivability Smile On the video it loose grip on the Wheels so doesnt get full boost, derfor it smokes more than usual also Smile

(12-08-2013, 06:19 AM)Stamsaas I have a gearbox ready to put in, so start With that. But interresting what you say about put a bearing in the flywheel Smile Must check my flywheel (lightwight) to see if i can put a bearing in that. Smile Is it the same splines on the gearbox shaft? Smile
The axle has the same splines but is 2 cm shorter so it will not reach your clutch plate, unless you have a clutch plate with a 2cm offset center. But you probably don't since it fit your long axle 5 speed.
You should adjust the fuel delivered before boost, ask Gøran if you are not sure how to do it. A tuned diesel that make that much smoke gives old diesels a bad reputation. Imagine if one of the politicians so your videoConfused I am afraid to think about the consequences....

one way is to drill an other flywheel i think this would be the easiest way if there is any space für a bearing wheel

I know how to adjust the pump, but the alda gives full amount of diesel at about 1.3bar boost, I have read dieselmeken wrote that someplace. but the pump is adjusted to give diesel enough to 2,6bar boost, but dont have grip to get that boost. Thats why, it gives diesel to 2,6bar boost, but it only makes 1.5-1.8 bar because of the grip. its better on dry and not icy roads when it has grip. Its also late spoolup, so a compound setup will be better on every way, except the space Smile
