Anyone know anything about the transmission in the Black Smoke Racing W123 wagon? On their website it says they are using a modified E55 AMG gearbox. As you can see on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWoOMepM...FQ&index=3 about the 2:40 mark, he is not using a clutch pedal only a manual shift lever. Anyone know the details of this setup? I like the idea of shifting with no pedal.

A "manual valve body" in a domestic auto can have a similar effect.

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?

I can't speak for their earlier setups but their current setup is pretty cool, it uses an open-source Arduino computer to control the shifts.
