I resolve to give no fucks

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

I resolve to get a hx30 or he221 for the benz, fix the head gasket, and get my PC's worked over.
Also i am going to get my N90 injectors in my 3-71 detriot pulling tractor, and get my Bosch VE pump on my other pulling tractor.

Thats just a start Smile

I am going to fix this heater core this year. I just swapped out the radiator because it was leaking. I wonder what can be causing all the fuss in the cooling circuit?
One time about 2 yrs ago this one hose to the heater core blew out. I wonder if that's when all the trouble started?
Also I see that one of the transmission fluid cooling hard lines seems to be leaking. This leaking ass bitch drives me nuts Wink

Maybe the heater core is fine? Just a hose could have come loose. That would be ideal.

God luck man. Sounds like a corrosion issue-are you using DI water with your coolant?

Swap to manual and you won't have any more transmission cooler leaks Smile

nah, it is just tap water. And I am always seeing rust in the bottom of the radiator. I plan to get into the dash tomorrow.
