SERIOUSLY?

I always hit SUV's. I suck. This time though the bumper got deformed but can be hammed back out.

Got lucky this time. Nothing needs to be replaced.

Sounds like you need this, then you can run into as many suv's/pedestrians/whatever/etc. as you want

http://www.4x4connection.com/tech/arbbullbar.htm

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

The bumper I guess I could either hammer out or just find the middle piece, but all the metal work inside that is meant to fortify it during an accident like mine is all bent out of shape

.....

Get some tie down racheting straps and wrap it around the damaged area. One the other side of it, use a come along like this.

And the attach the come along via another strap to a large tree. You should be able to pull it out enough by this method.

lol, its funny, but realistically not really a laughing matter. What if someone were crossing the street in front of you or ect? There a whole plethora of horrendous outcomes that fortunately, you avoided.

Im with simpler=better, I doubt this happens again, you will be on your guard, and will be easily able to repair your car.

As an example, I don't brake check people anymore after I brake checked a complete a-hole, who then ran me off the road in an entire incident that involved having the police come, ect ect. Was embarrassing enough I'll never ever do it again, at least in my little tin jetta, it it will lose any battle of that kind.
