What really has been changed on those n/a engines . 617.910 and 617 912 ( until engine 55000 +/-) used 91 mm pistons , diferent rods and have 77 HP . After that 90.9 mm pistons and 88 HP. Are there other modifications?

thanks

Basic change between the .910 and .912 is oil filter location, and different intake and exhaust manifolds

.

Gota love Mercedes Diesels!
