New results for EDC Pump - bruno_pinho - 08-12-2016

Hello
New Dyno with my OM605, 7.5 elements EDC Pump.

I think unusual the power line to stay until the end rpm, something that is not seen every day.

Maybe try more rpm's soon.

Pretty narrow torque curve, with torque peaking at 4500 I'm not surprised to see the power still climbing at 6000. What turbo are you running?

Why it would be unusual? With EDC you CAN inject full fuel and then shaprly cut off at rev limiter. But I take it is unusual for RSF governors where you just cant and power will fall before rev limiter bcs thats how mech. governors work.

what about a mech governor without REV limit!!! ;

I wouldn't dare run a high performance engine without a rev limiter. You want that rev limiter to save your engine when the drive train blows apart or tyres suddenly lose their grip. I know people have done it, but I firmly believe a rev limiter extends the life of a high power engine.

When I say unusual, I mean in general not ace edc pump....usually the power falls between 5000 and 5500 rpm..
