Annoying noise - ForcedInduction - 07-22-2009 Does anyone have a solution to stop the starter heat shield from making that resonating noise? The nailing in #5 makes the sound even worse. Its got all 3 bolts in place and I've tried bending the rear corner to change its shape. You really have to deform the whole thing. Like one big dent in the center. I've got a bunch of this stuff if you don't want to buy a whole roll.
