The performance paddock over on peachparts is probably your best bet:

Hi! It would probably be easyest to take a 230 compressor (M111.975) engine and replace the supercharger with a turbo. It's allready got all you need for charging.

There's a book by Corky Bell (Maximum boost) that is recommended as a basic understanding of turbo charged (gasoline) engines. I always start with a good book, internet discussion is - well, we all know the problems Wink

thanks mr weasel, well f i had one m111 compressor there was no need of going turbo, was just a qustion of tunning it. anyhow i got your point.
the fórum , well they are what they are , all are alloud, u got to filter what u hear. and the same happens with the books, not all have correct info.
now im fighting the CO emissions, does anyone know how to trick them? got to reduce CO by 2%. wich is not much but is required by law.

High CO comes from rich combustion. You could try and fool the ecu by making a small bypass after the mass airflow meter. So the ecu thinks less air is drawn in and injects less fuel. And then the bypass give extra air so your mixture is leaner.

I'm a MOT tester in my country and I can tell, the CO check sucks. Only 0.3% is allowed here.

Thanks for your opinion, it is quiet the one i have, i just dont know if it works. i´ll try. once i had a Subaru impresa and it was the same, always failed the CO emissions, so a acuainted of mine showed me a tap in the manifold that u can remove and the CO was ok after.
This car i´m having the problema is a w124coupe with the M111.960 N/A . maybe u know of some trick , hose whatever i can play to get it through the test , i just need to lower it by 2% .
thanks

Is this a high idle test that you are talking about or just a low idle test

RE: turboing the m111 - barrote - 12-08-2013

both tests , the 3000rpm and the idle , the values are same , 2% above limits. something is wrong with that. plugs and o2 probe is ok , CAT is in good shape, i think , but i dont think the CAT got anything to do with it. i m just guessing. u think lean it would play the trick? i don´t even know how to lean it.
