I would make an proper superturbo OM617A (like mine is
or swap an OM605 for superturbo transformation.

Been busy moving and other crap. I'm going to give it one more shot at finding a decent Om617. I've been keep a eye out and they just stopped showing up in the junkyards down here. There's a billion gassers but no diesels. I'd like a 603/606/605 but I've seen enough of those to count on one hand and none ever at the junkyards.

Well.... It crushed my heart to do it but...
It went to the crusher after I pulled a few "rare" parts. They'll be in the forsale section soon. I looked for a good 617 for awhile and had no luck.
Shoved it up on the trailer with my truck and sent it off.

They were junk. Chrome was coming off and they were corroded bad. I didn't take the 2nd gen brakes off either.

It's been cubed up and probably halfway to china by now. I have a friend that does scrap metal recycling.

Volvo 850/960/s70 fan and shroud fit nicely and have a 2 speed controller.
