So a lower gear sits closer to the center??? Machine those millimeters or schim it if it's the other way around in other words. Sounds to easy...

What is the best W201/W204 differential (strength and ratio-wise) for an OM60x swap? It will be getting welded solid, so I am only interested in open differentials.
The car will be used for occasional drift events, but I would also like to be able to drive on the highway at reasonable RPM's.

Weight of the vehicle is almost as important and projected power output.
