Hello all,

Any one knows which brake calipers and rotors , as well as master cylinder, from other models would fit on the W115?

I'm upgrading my engine to OM603/606 and I need to upgrade my brakes to handle more than 300hp and I'm starting to look on this subject.

PS: It's easy also to fit ABS?

Thanks

1) I'm not sure...been a while since ive looked at a 115, but the 126 stuff *may* fit... its amazing how much stuff can be swapped between years.. if you have a good yard close by you can take measurements from that would be best.. A lot of the ones around here I go to and take stuff from one car and try to put it on another to test fit.. if it looks pretty good, then I usually buy it and install on my car. I'd also look at the 116 stuff from similar years...

2) ABS from mid '80's 126 should be pretty straightforward. I have all the parts to swap it onto my car (full harness, pump, etc) just no time to actually do it... The one thing I can see being an issue for you is the sensor in the rear diff. all the abs systems that ive considered retrofitting require a special boss to install a tone wheel sensor in the diff... if a 123 or early 126 diff will attach to your subframe, then it should make that part easy...I have a couple of diffs with different ratios that have the sensor installed...

W123 Mods: 4 speed ** manual climate control ** '85 Kalitucky intake ** manual windows & full tint ** Euro headlights retrofit w/bixenon projectors ** 4 brake light mod ** Vogtland 50mm drop front & Lesjofors S600 drop rear springs ** 16" rims ** late w126 brake spindles, rotors & calipers ** full suspension rehab ** Bilstein HDs ** AL129X alternator & 1/0 starter and charging cables ** 300GD clutch/flywheel ** AFCO 80103N radiator & Earl's 41610 oil cooler ** custom block-off plate, remote oil filter & t-stat ** MW IP w/ tomnik's 6.5mm 'Holly' elements **

S124 Mods: 400E Rear subframe ** SL600 Brakes ** Late 300E 210mm diff ** SLK230 6 speed ** 17" CLK rims ** Vented RF Fender ** Facelift Hood, Headlights, and Lower Cladding **
