Hi Guys.

I have rebuilt my engine, have new Garrett GT3582R and 7.5mm pump.
I did set the engine to 20dgr afterTDC while I installed the pump.

I have a few questions.

How can I make shoer the pump timing is right?

Can to late pump timing cause to high EGT? (it goes up to 850dgr at full load)

What else can caus to high EGT, I dont have to much smoke?

The turbine is only in 8-10PSI when I need to reduse throttle due to EGT.

If I increase the oil can that help the turbine and then reduse EGT?

Thank you for your help.

are you using Deg Celsius or Fahrenheit

(850°C = 1562°F)

1250°F or 676°C is about as high as I would risk going with an aluminum head!

sounds like you need more boost to help cool it down

I can get up to 850°C and probebly more.

I´m getting max 10PSI pressure, I guess the heat would go down if I would get more pressure?

What are you using for off boost fuel control? An intercooler could help too, but 10 psi is way too low for that to be the problem.

Hi
The pump is done by Pasi in Finnland, I think the pump is not causing the problem.
