first post to a message board ever! I've been reading alot of the information on this board and I really enjoy the knowledge that a lot of you have. anyway, I have an 82 300d with airresearch turbo. my brother has 82 300sd with the triple k turbo. what is the difference in these two turbos?

His turbo spools up faster, but yours is more efficient (the compressed air is cooler).

The two turbos are interchangeable. Most see the K26 as an easy/cheap upgrade because of its faster response.
