My friend just bought me the Laser Interceptor Big Grin (yes, I peeked..) Been meaning to get one forever, just never had the money... Can't wait to get it installed on the Benz! but I gotta wait till after christmas. Now I just gotta come up with something way better to get her than what I had planned Undecided and I'm broke! Sad

Must be a hell of a friend!

1998 MB E300 - 194,000 miles. Current/future mods: 7.5mm pump elements, Holset HX40 Turbo feeding Eaton M90 supercharger through custom fabbed intake system. Aeroturbine muffler, scratch-built 4" stainless exhaust. EGR eliminated, ECM recalibrated, modified rack position feedback circuit. Porterfield RS brake pads, Bilstein sport shocks, VDO EGT, oil and boost gauges.

2000 Ford F250 - 150,000 miles. Current/future mods: DP Tuner 3 map chip, scratch-built high flow intake, high output IDM, open circuit fuel system, ball bearing turbo, South Bend full metal clutch, slotted and drilled rotors. Autometer Sport Comp EGT and boost gauges.

Really good friend, yes, pretty much best friend.. But, I'm pretty sure this is for another reason..lets just say its really complicated.

Welded together some mounting brackets today, skills are definitely improving (or maybe it was switching to flux cored wire, since the wind always used to blow away my shielding gas). I'm going to have the sensor heads sticking out from under the headlights. Not the absolute best looking way to mount them, but I figure I'd rather not have $500 worth of electronics getting slammed every time I open the hood. Kinda tough lining the brackets up since my aftermarket drivers side fender dosen't fit right and the panel under the headlight is missing. Just gotta keep pretending I don't know till Christmas...
