om602 pump into OM605
om602 pump into OM605
I'm busy to build an om605 into w201. But I want to keep the electronic pump. But... I'm afraid that there will be any problems with the wiring. So I thought maybe I can go for plan B if it's not possible doing it by electronic way.
Can I take ip 6.0 elements from an electronic pump and put them into the om603 pump? Can I get over the 200hp with those elements with less smoke?
Can I do it by myself or do I have to take it to a diesel-service? Does anyone have a how to with pictures? Any experience with this?

6mm elements from electric pump will fit OM602 pump. you can not fit them yourself if you want your car to run smooth, and totally forget it if you are not a diesel mechanic.
You will find all info you need on this forum, but here are some quick answers. Forget the electric pump, too difficult even for pros.

Dieselmeken, I saw your movie on YouTube about the 602 with 6 elements (150cc max) I saw that you also change the valve springs, are they modificated ones or also from a om605 pump.
Good to hear that's the pump can deliver more than 200hp.
Thanks for the reply, well I did some little modification before on a vp Bosch pump (vw Tdi) and Bosch testbanch wasn't needed. With Mercedes pump I have no experience.
