Iv seen the ofgear and pcs transmission controllers is one better than the other. How well do these controllers work on higher hp applications, are they reliable or would it be better to build a 722.3. Would be a max of 400hp om606 in either a w210 or w124.

The OFGear controller is 722.6 specific, so I think that is a positive unless you plan on switching to a different auto trans at some point. Getting feedback to issues that are specific to a 606 with 722.6 should be much easier from the OFGear people.

The OFGear controller is also able to do boost control, which is helpful if you have a mechanical pump and no electronic boost control or just want a good boost control system. Also, OFGear has put a good effort towards boost control with VNT turbochargers and even integrated exhaust pressure into the control scheme.  If you're running a VNT turbo then they are the best option for boost control that I have seen. If you're running a 722.6 with a VNT turbo, then the OFGear is ideal.
