I have a car with the rack limiter removed. For those with a 617a pump to measure, about what mm depth is the adjusting nut set at stock?

To clarify, I put the rack limiter back in.

I set it all the way adjusted in. Adjusted the torque control 3-1/2 turns CW, turned in the coarse idle 1/2 turn CW and the horizontal stop to about 1/4" from the nut.
The throttle is very touchy off idle but tapers off quick. It returns to idle and maintains idle perfect. EGT gets past 1300 at WOT. Think I'll turn back the rack 2 CCW.

Turned back the coarse idle 1/4 turn and TC 1/2 turn. Great throttle response without being overly sensitive and great top end power that tops out at 1250f!
"Ungoverned" RPM range (where the rpm isn't maintained unloaded) starts at 1200rpm now instead of 1000rpm like other cars I've driven.
