Does anyone have insight into the best way to seal these pans? I have a 648 rear sump pan on my 606 swap and pan is leaking. I haven't had any luck sourcing a pan gasket so I assume there must be a sealing technique i'm not aware of. I have a tube of Elring Dirko Grey which I assume is a high end European RTV but want to apply it correctly and torque the pan bolts correctly.

Surely you can get one at a dealership? They're not too expensive. I've tried the RTV route - unless the two mating surfaces are bone-dry (good luck with that - oil keeps draining down the engine block), it's going to leak. Had to re-do it with the proper metal gasket.

A6060140022 or A6480140022, but they both look the same to me.
