Hello good evening,

Im completely overhauling my om605 and put it in an mercedes 407d, old firetruck. I put in 7,5mm dieselmeken elements in it. Just put the camshaft unwanted to put the flyweight back on and got a little insecure about the order of assembly. I took pictures of everything but unfortunately just forgot to to take an picture of this was. My question is, is it like A:      so the two rings are with the middle against each other. Is it like B:      the outer edges of the rings touch other? And are the rings in the right order?

Then my second question is about the position of the flyweight on the camshaft. There is a slot in the camshaft      dit i lost a part that should be in the slot?

Then my last question, How do you aline the flyweight with the camshaft? i think this comes very precise because you use the pin on the flyweight (govener) to time the pump. Is it like This:     so that the line on the flyweight alines with the slot and how you you check if it stays in this position while tightening the bolt? Is there smoking of repair manual to find aal the torque specs and some assembly pictures?

And with how much torque do you tighten the bolt of the flyweight on the camshaft?

Thank you!

I hate to sound rude, but the best course of action from here is to take the whole lot to a pump rebuilder. You need a test bench to set up something as precise as an injection pump, and I'm assuming you don't have one if you don't know how the pump/governor goes back together. Just trying to be helpful Wink

I wil bring it to an dieselcenter who will put it on the test bench for me to calibrate the pump for me. I placed the elements and they will calibrate the pimp! Wink
