I am looking for cooling options for an OM606 swapped W123. Is there an upgrade radiator that bolts in? The car has been "hatted" so there isn't a whole lot of room other than something that bolts into the stock location. I was just trying to figure out if there's a W123 model that had a larger radiator. Reason being, it's an endurance race car that sees hard use for 5-8 hours straight. Our last race we had some temp issues but we opened the heater valve and that seemed to keep the temp down.

Otherwise, maybe we can move the heater core to the front of the car and use it as an auxiliary radiator?

Here's what I ran on my w123:
https://www.speedwaymotors.com/AFCO-8010...28128.html
Some light mods to hose connections and fan (for om606 I'd run all electrics in front of core or between core and accessory drive if you can fit them...pullers are generally more efficient) and a little creativity to make bottom bracket to fit holes in bottom of core support.
I had just mechanical flex fan with a spacer to clear other pulleys, but only ran a tuned up om617.
Anyway, much bigger core and all aluminum tig welded unit stayed MUCH cooler and never git heat soaked. would likely serve your purpose well.

W123 Mods: 4 speed ** manual climate control ** '85 Kalitucky intake ** manual windows & full tint ** Euro headlights retrofit w/bixenon projectors ** 4 brake light mod ** Vogtland 50mm drop front & Lesjofors S600 drop rear springs ** 16" rims ** late w126 brake spindles, rotors & calipers ** full suspension rehab ** Bilstein HDs ** AL129X alternator & 1/0 starter and charging cables ** 300GD clutch/flywheel ** AFCO 80103N radiator & Earl's 41610 oil cooler ** custom block-off plate, remote oil filter & t-stat ** MW IP w/ tomnik's 6.5mm 'Holly' elements **

S124 Mods: 400E Rear subframe ** SL600 Brakes ** Late 300E 210mm diff ** SLK230 6 speed ** 17" CLK rims ** Vented RF Fender ** Facelift Hood, Headlights, and Lower Cladding **
