Did they ever make a plastic or non wood center consol with the later style illumanated window siches i have a 1985 300td wagon that i have put euro bumpers and headlights on now im tryig to do somthing a little diffrent with the interior i orders the euro plain style dash trim to ditch the tatty wood. i just finished the 5spd swap and replaced the ash tray with the vw gauge holder with 3 gauges from vdo boost,EGT,volts. i also need to replace or make the hvac trim to match my non wood theme. any thoughts??? I'd go to an industrial supply like MSC or McMaster Carr and look for textured plastics and cut your own pieces. A little spray glue and your good.
