I know this is not definite, but looking at these pics of a m180 bock I found looks to me it will fit.

I have a 617 buried in my storage that I can try to take some measurements off of. The only problem it has the flywheel and torque converter still attached.

You might want to contact peachparts.com member KarTek. He has a 404 also and might be able to help you out.
