Because those cars should all have had an OM606 turbo. 120 horsepower is just pitiful.
So you don't recommend a 1999 Musso for a doner engine for another project then ?
I don't recommend a W210 sold in Iceland for a donor engine. Every W210 sold here had that awful 120hp DI engine.
The Musso on the other hand has the OM662 which is for the most part identical to the OM602.940, an IDI 2.9L 5 cylinder. Same power output though, unless you fit a bigger injection pump. It's not as strong as a 605 though.
