I know a shop in the Netherlands that has experience with them. Henri's Transmission Services. But if you just need something strong enough. Any standard v8 transmission is up to the task. Like out of a E500 or sl500 etc. I would not use a e430 transmission. I sell a valve body that will take a bone stock v8 transmission into the plus 1000wht/whp area. Also dont count out a factory reman unit. Here at least they can be pretty cheap sometimes.

I have two different ones. One is only if you have tuning capabilities. Like a standalone tcu.. It doubles the shift pressures and working pressure from what a factory one does. The 2nd one is more moderate. It is a 50% increase in shift pressure. I can adjust working pressure as well but it should not be needed. This valve body is good for those who need a firmer shift and still want daily driver shifts at the lower throttle ranges and do not have the ability to tune for the more aggressive one.
The lock up converter is not effected by either.
Price is 800.00 with a core return. 900.00 with no core.
I use remanufactured units from Mopar. So they are not used cores. They include solenoids.
I can also sell you a used unit that has been cleaned and checked no solenoids for 650.00 with no core. I have those in stock.
The 50& increase one I would say is good to about 650-700 whp. Maybe a bit more. I have a couple of clients in that range on them. Low 10s quarter mile cars.

Ist heuer no way to regulate the Stift or workingpressure in the high performamce modification?
I am going to use a standalone gearboxcontroller like the one from olefejer

Yes both can be tuned on. I just made the one for those people that either do not want to or cant. Like most Mercedes tcu tunes on factory 722.6 cars. If you are running a standalone then of course you can tune for them. I have tunes for them with the PCS TCM-2800. I offer them as a package. I have people running low 9s cars on stock 5.7-6.1 dodge hemi transmissions which are basically the same thing as a 5.0l trans from Mercedes.

Just use a 270CDI box. Bolts right on the om606 and can hadle much power with the Olefjer controller.

It does not matter what controller is running a transmission. At some point there is not enough pressure to complete a shift in the appropriate amount of time. Typically you will find that at around 500-550 whp/wtq that a stock v8 configuration trans will not last long. Without tq management. You will start to see flair in the 3-4 shift at around 450-500 fw/hp with no torque management. If it is tuned properly. That is about the limit. Then valve body modifications and or other things start to be a requirement.
The factory limited input tq to around 350nm maximum during a shift. No matter if it was a 4 cyl or a v12tt.

I think this modification is interesting for me and thanks for for the detailed informations.
I have a mechanical pump so i will have to take care to reduce the power while shifting.
