Hi all,

I installed a hybrid 2260 vklr on my grand cherokee with OM642.
Actually I finished a project that was started a long time ago.
2007 Jeep GC
Full SRT8 interior
SRT8 body kit
SRT8 suspension
SRT8 Brembo brakes

When driving the car now I hear a Woosh sound and the engine goes in limp. I first thought that the intercooler was broken or a boost pipe but all seems to be ok.

Is this the swirl motor that isn't working anymore?

If someone has some experience to share...

Thanks

Perhaps a good start would be to plug a scan tool in and see what DTCs it is throwing when it goes limp.

What kind of VNT control setup are you running on it?

Vacuum controlled or the stepper motor/worm gear box setup?
