Hi all.  My om602.962 (in my r129 project) blew its headgasket (when the throttle cable got stuck in the firewall).  I've read several places that I can use the MLS headgasket from the om605 in my om602 with just a couple of holes to drill to match coolant flow.  However, I cannot seem to find which om605 gasket to order, and how I might be able to get it here in the US.  (Since even the last revisions of the om602 head gasket eventually leak, I'm hoping if I use the MLS gasket I don't ever have to worry about it again.)

If my studying of the EPC is correct, it looks like one of the following:
- 605-016-09-20 (e.g. w210.015) - thicker for if need to plane head/block?
- 605-016-07-20 (e.g. w210.015) - standard for just cleaning head/block?

I am expecting just the standard one for my om602 since it was otherwise in good shape.  Can anyone confirm the part numbers before I try to order them, since I'm guessing it won't be returnable from wherever I find one?

Thanks!

I guess they fit , more or less hole...
But maybe u can find MLS HG for 602, search the brand "victor reinz", as the "asbestos" type HG are rare this days , maybe MB can provide a MLS type for 602.
I have one original brand new STD HG for 602.98X wich i will not use.
PM with a offer .
