I've noticed that my injection pump is weeping oil from the bronze (loose) cap at the of the injection pump (the one on the left, below the level of the shut-off valve).

On taking the cap apart from a spare pump I have (there does not appear to be any non-destructive method of removing the cap), I discovered an o-ring that was very hard and brittle; I assume my pump's o-ring is in the same condition, hence it leaking.

EPC doesn't list these parts (or any other internal components of the pump for that matter), but I did discover this photo on Peachparts. I want to replace the cap #123 and o-ring #124. However, I don't even know if the diagram is for an OM60x pump, although the thead was on the topic of an OM606. I'm not too concerned about the o-ring - that I can find anywhere; the cap is the most important. Alternatively, is there a method of removing the cap without destroying it?

Thank you! Can't really find an online source to buy it from, unfortunately. I'll give our local Bosch agents a call in the morning.
