Anyone know if the ML trans can be used in RWD application (w124) easily? I have seen pictures of the transfer case removed but I am not sure if the driveshaft yoke can be easily attached to the output shaft?

The ML270CDI 722.661 is the easiest strong box I can find locally, there are no C270 CDI's around and all the v8 transmissions are much more expensive.

Thanks

The rear output 'cup' is held on with the same arrangement the flex disk mount uses as far as I could tell on mine.
