Wow, that's nice! I've been thinking I should get something to diagnose and trace the various signals coming fromthe ECU onthe car...

I ordered the kit from these people:

www.nkcelectronics.com

Same stuff and prices just not the $40 to ship that little thing from China!

haha, you have the FUN part already done for you! All the SMDs are pre-soldered... Wink

I'll solder that stuff together for free if anyone wants to pay shipping both ways, although if you want me to do it, get the one without the SMDs soldered..

Well... Sad to say that as perfectly as I followed the Chinese instructions and as carefully as I placed and soldered every connection and every component, it will not boot up... Sad

There are several release notes but sometimes the language is like a double negative and it's hard to figure out what they're saying...

I did notice that some of the components were getting kind of warm so maybe one of the capacitors that I was supposed to reverse got reversed twice.

Bummer...

I got mine in the mail this weekend. Rand duct tape around the sides to seal up the places where fingers might go and it works pretty good. The sensor input plug (RCA) is wiggly or something so it doesnt work 100% but when it does it certainly does the job. As I mentioned in the vnt controller thread, my arduino was outputting PWM at 7.1ms..

Fixed mine. Improved the solder joints connecting the diaplay board to the main board and it's good to go now.

1998 MB E300 - 194,000 miles. Current/future mods: 7.5mm pump elements, Holset HX40 Turbo feeding Eaton M90 supercharger through custom fabbed intake system. Aeroturbine muffler, scratch-built 4" stainless exhaust. EGR eliminated, ECM recalibrated, modified rack position feedback circuit. Porterfield RS brake pads, Bilstein sport shocks, VDO EGT, oil and boost gauges.

2000 Ford F250 - 150,000 miles. Current/future mods: DP Tuner 3 map chip, scratch-built high flow intake, high output IDM, open circuit fuel system, ball bearing turbo, South Bend full metal clutch, slotted and drilled rotors. Autometer Sport Comp EGT and boost gauges.
