Hi everyone,
Looking at improving the cold air intake piping and am looking at pics for the valve cover to air cleaner separator.

Some pages read have just vented to atmosphere and others go to great lengths to make it work.

I've not used one but thinking about it now.

What are the pros n cons with this?

what do u mean by vent? engine blow by?
well it should be vented to intake , but if u like the smell of burned oil u can also vent it dwn the car , or to exaust pipe or a catch can , or something else í´m not guetting ,
i guess best would be exaust pipe, but i use mine at intake ....

It just going to a catch can & down to crankcase, not into intake as seen in pics

Venting it into the atmosphere is just wrong. It is basically oil vapor which burns well and should be routed into the intake. Compare that to EGR flow which is basically soot and should never enter the intake.

Or, for best results, connect to a catch can that is connected to the intake
