It was an early sunday morning, I was on my way to the car show Caffeine & Octane in Atlanta. While getting off a ramp onto the freeway, literally 6 Minutes from the show location. The dump truck I was behind while on the ramp had two gates. A bottom half gate and a top half gate. The bottom half gate, had a dry rotted latch.

The truck hit a small bump and the latch broke off leaving the bottom open and literally a cloud of gravel/rocks and road from a road construction site fell on my car. I was left in a cloud of dirt unable to see or move away, I literally thought it was going to break the windshield and I covered my head with both of my hands. It calmed for a few seconds and then he hit another bump and literally released so much more rocks. Leaving me at 20mph on a 75MPH freeway. I eventually caught up to the driver who was very hesitant to pull over and called the police. Long story short they wanted to total my car.

My name is Javi, Im 16 and I'm from Atlanta.
Now you guys don't know me very well... yet. But you will soon see I actually love my w123 way too much to total her let alone not drive her for a couple of days. Ive completed 90% of the repairs in less than a month from the accident. I won't reveal the overall status of her yet, but Ill give you guys a sneak peek.

Adjust the ALDA and turn the pump up. By far the biggest gains, and its free

That suck! Glad you're bringing it back alive.

If you want a 617 to go fast:
-Rework the head (port it/ new valve guides/ etc)
-port the exhaus tmanifold
-Newer turbo
-Bigger injectors
-Big pump ($$$$)

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?
