Om617a, Hx30w, 7.5mm M-pump, TMIC. I'm just trying to see how it comparesto others. It's in a Cherokee with 33" tires. Boost is 20psi.

I noticed on the video the EGT appeared to max around 1,350F, is this correct?

Also are you using an intercooler?

I do have a small interintercooler. It held at 1350* because I let off, I do not jave the boost needed for the amount of fuel I have. If I feather the throttle to meet the wastegate at 20psi the temp stays under 1250* in that video I was pouring black smoke thats why the egt's went up so fast.

So you're thinking ~26psi needed to support your 7.5mm pump?

Reason i ask is: i am considering a similar setup, with 21psi max

I believe my 7.5mm pump will overfuel even 30psi, per Goran it should fuel to 350hp. 350hp would most likely require more than 30psi of boost. I'm going to set mine to 28psi when I install the adjustable wastegate. The acceptable safe daily limit on these engines is 30psi, this has been verified many times. It is far more dangerous to have unburned fuel than boost.

What cc is your pump set to? The regular HX30 is only good to 34 lb min or so, which may be an issue depending on your power goals

I do not remember the CC on the pump, Dieselmeken built it. I'm sure I have the paperwork somewhere. I will take whatever power I can get with 28psi and WM injection. I'd guess I can make 250-300hp?

I think 73/44 HX30W would probably be about 250 crank hp on these, but proof is in the pudding

Yeah I don't know man. I am faaaar from being an expert, but I've been looking at numbers for my 603 and for 260hp I'll need around 36-38 lbs with about 20psi boost at 5000 rpm. So, yeah 250 is probably possible at a lower rpm on a 617, the plus side is that the Holsets can deliver the boost needed to make up for lower volumetric efficiency. I hope you can prove me wrong though!

I've already dynoed once but it was trash data because it did not have a 1:1 pull at the time. 148hp and and 430ftlbs tq at by 1600rpm. With a 1:1 pull I'd geuss pretty close to 200hp and 380ft tq and this was with no air through the intercooler.
