RE: SLS delete
Why do you want to delete SLS suspension?
You might need to replace springs too. SLS springs are usually much softer.

RE: SLS delete
The reason I want to delete the system is because I can't fix it. I tried to fix it the original shocks were leaking oil I wanted new ones but they are expensive around $400.00 each so I found a good set used not leaking now but still rides bad as the previous shocks. I don't know know what to do to fix the problem

RE: SLS delete
Nitrogen spheres. They do the damping. Just recently got new ones on a sedan and made a huge difference

1978 300D, 373,000km
OM617.912 with a Holset HX30W, 7.5mm IP, 711.113 5 speed (water injectio
n+W/A intercooler to come)
1977 250 270,000km (parts car)
1984 240TD>300TD (drivetrain swapped into '78) since sold
1988 Toyota Corona 2.0D 145,000km (DD while '78 has work done)

Dream build:
1984/85 W123, twincharged 617.952 - M90/112/122 feeding HE351VE or similar, 7.5mm 160cc IP, 716.6 6 speed, 3.27 LSD

RE: SLS delete
If shock is not leaking it`s fine. Shocks replaced usually because of worn ball joint.

Most problematic is hydrospheres like NZScott described.
