We are still racing but are considering retiring this build.  It's kind of hard to do.  It's been a great car.

No such thing as 10mm elements in an M pump. 8.5mm is the largest M pumps can go without the barrels being too thin

Sorry to burst your bubble lol

Pretty sure you were right with 7.5mm. They're the biggest Dieselmeken supplies and are patented etc. In fact he had people making knockoff elements a while ago and was considering not supplying his elements to other pump builders

Edit: I think he's done some special 8mm jobs now I think harder.

That's not true at all NZscott. Bosch made MW pumps up to 10mm maybe even 11 for international dt466 engines. eBay Bosch pes6mw and different sizes will come up for different applilcations

Edit: Whoops. Sorry about that, I thought this was a 10mm MW pump. But I reread it and it says M pumps. My apologies, carry on.

the mw pump has much bigger elements available because it is used on larger vehicles than the m pump which due to its design is limited normally to 8mm elements at max maybe 8.5 with some very careful construction.

i recently spotted something while looking at some Bosch part numbers. one of the Chinese sites that sell elements lists parts for a PES5H120. i looked for it and all i can find is it might be from a MAN F2000 with a v10 engine. maybe they used two H pumps for a v10? would be amazing if so but i suspect its an error on the Chinese website.

As for the M pump above i think Dieselmeken listed the 7.5MM elements he produces for them as putting out a maximum of between 150 and 170 cc so that puts that one squarely in that region. however it could be an 8mm pump. the work sheet posted lists it as a PES5M10 which would mean its 10MM but thats not possible on a M pump so its either a 7.5 running close to maximum or its an 8 with more to go.
