I put a set of 314 nozzles in my 616 and it cleaned up the idle but has seemed to have lost power my stock injectors were 240 nozzles I was led to believe the 314s were approx 15% over duty am I confused or missing something here

Sorry mate, 314s were the later nozzles, 315s are for a non-MB engine and are meant to flow more.

But don't forget in an IDI the injector flow is largely irrelevant. If your 616 is NA still then I doubt you would gain all that much anyway.

But hey, new nozzles of any type will make an engine run better Smile

If the engine runs they're working Tongue

You don't need bigger nozzles. People get 500+ hp from 606s on 314s so...

The #315s are the known drop in replacements which flow around 15% more fuel. The #314s, #265s, and #261s flow around the same amount of fuel, with tiny differences in which highly unlikely any person would ever know any difference.

You should not have lost any power. Something is apparently not "right". Did you pop test them before installing them?
