Greetings from Costa Rica. A couple of months back I got delivery of my Dieselmeken 7.5mm pump (a true marvel), which solved all of my smoking issues with the previous pump. Thus far, I had been running a GT25C turbo at 28psi, with 48min/75max fueling while I installed EGT sensors, boost sensors and channged pipes. Now that that is done, I am now looking to change the turbo for a bigger unit. My goal is around the 250hp mark with good spool, preferably fullboost at around 2800-3000 rpm. I had originally considered a Holset He221w or Hx30 super. Between these two, which would be a better option? I have also been considering a compound setup with the Gt25 as the hp turbo and a Holset Hx30 super or Hx35 as the Lp turbo considering my power goals. The limiting factor is the transmission, a 717.466. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you very much.
