Hey everybody! Haven't been on here in a while due to a Subaru SVX taking up a bunch of my time. Unfortunately the SVX is giving me some expensive issues, so I'm gonna need to get my SD going again.

Last year I had it on the road for a couple months until it started making a huge racket. I thought it had jumped timing so I thought I had a huge amount of work to do. With knowledge from you all I was able to determine that my engine is perfectly fine. So while turning the engine by hand, I heard a clanking noise. Got underneath and found out that the freshly reinstalled torque converter bolts had sheared off and made a mess of things. Apparently I didn't torque them right... So my fault.

I have a spare flex plate and torque converter, now all I need is the bolts.

I no longer have access to EPC Net so I can't get this stuff on my own. Does anyone have parts charts for an '85 SD? Or at least the part number for those 3 TC bolts?

Thanks!

Matt.

Thanks! That should be what I need! And its for the OM617. I wish I had a 3.5L OM603... Those are tricky to find in upstate New York.

Well I ended up ordering some new bolts from Pelican and surprisingly there's no bolts in stock in the US. But apparently Mercedes Benz is doing this nice thing where they'll send in parts from Germany if it's not stocked here for like no extra shipping. They helped me out and I got the new bolts. They're installed and I'll hopefully have the beauty on the road soon!
