so yes, when I have the donor car, I need to ship the ECU including the loom and the immo (key and lock) to my contact... Rumour has it that the can of the ecu has to be opened and that they need to be on the pcb doing JTAG programming...

08-18-2016, 07:14 AM #8Swapping ECU is possible yes, EDC17 can be made workable with the om613 or om648, what not can be done with a mapper is the removal of the need for the transmision ecu (TCU) and the ABS sensors and some other stuff. What seems to be totaly impossible or a lot of work is the key, which im my oppinion does not matter, good luck stealing my boat without that key ^^.
