I am looking into the same thing...the 211s here are either V6 or V8 so it may require custom mounts but there are I6 diesels offered in the 211 body in EU right?

I'd imagine, stock cdi ecu is used but remapped to get rid of DTC (error codes)
Sprinter flywheel. Because it has the correct trigger wheel.
Mechanical fuel pump.
320cdi sump and oil pump.

V6 and v8 may also work. Once they don't have cam sensors.
You just need the ecu to see crank, coolant.
To relay to the clocks. Abs will run the esp and abs once you go manual.

Also it is not as easy "I connect here and find DTC propertly named in list and clicky click I disable them".  Big Grin

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ex: 525tds 130kW, C250TD 160kW, E320CDI 200kW, ML400CDI 230kW, A6 R5TDI 130kW
Now: Q7 V8TDI 240kW, 320d 150kW, 335d 210kW

I think you will want the E320cdi engine mounts. The 270 is 5 cylinder and wil move the engine relative to the gearbox.

I expect the 606 crank sensor will drive the stock w211 tack.

603 IP or 606EDC & ole is simplest in my 'unable to modify ECU' eyes..

I think the 211 has 722.6 or if not it will definitely fit on the mounts.

Installed:

OM606/722.6, big IC, W220 brakes.
Planned:
DIY manifold, compound, 722.6 controller, built IP.
[i]Less rust..

The instrument cluster is canbus so on a w211, it will want to talk to a w211 ecu for tacho and everything else so a w211 flex plate will only do.

Om606 edc ecu won't drive a w211 instrument cluster, nearly sure the canbus pid are different. They both use canbus to relay information though.

If your set on w211 then use stock ecu and flex plate. With mechanical pump. Or use a om606 flex plate and ecu and find out the canbus pid's and put them through a canbus controller to change there pid. Harder but possible, then sell it so its easy for everyone to do haha.

I prefer mechanical pump because i am not a advanced electrician.
And till now i dont know how disable those dtc errors from engine!!!!
I need only spedo, temp, rpm, charging and thats all i think.
Do i need teplace chips like on w210 or buy custom ecu or go pro tuner but last gonna be expensive in poland.

If it was me for the sake of simplicity I'd fit 606 with mechanical pump and w211 flex plate.
Use the old loom and temp sensors etc.
This should give you tacho, temp, battery. Speed is from abs ecu.
Then read the error codes and get a tuner to remove them in one go.
A good tuner will just wipe all DTC for you from ecu.
Ole controller will deal with gearbox then if using auto.

Although petrol's change and have cam sensors also.
