Hello I would like to know if a 716.656 gearbox fits on a OM606 Turbodiesel. The engine code is OM651.911.

What I could find is that only M102,M103,M104,M111,OM606,OM605,OM604,OM603,OM602,OM601 gearboxes fit but please let me know if the W204 C220CDI will also fit!

1944 army boat with 7.5mm PP diesel OM606. Planning to build a second 8mm engine for an old car..

I think the OM651 has a completely different bolt patternm, it probably won't fit. But i can't be sure.

Thanks, I was afraid for the same.
I also know a 716.631 from a W203 with a M271.921 engine. Would this make a chance?

Thanks!

I think they fit still.. I want to say the bolt pattern is still the same on the CDI's as long as they are inline engines (up until '06-ish).

Swatmugga might know.. Not sure which box he's using but it's a 716 from a 220cdi

'98 E300 Turbo "Juliette" - Brabus wheels and almost all the options a w210 could have
'87 300D Turbo "Roxanne" - #22 head - 400E brakes - EGR Delete - 17" Staggered AMG 5 spoke rims from CLK500 - 5 Spd manual
2007 Chevy 2500HD CCSB Duramax with about 400-500 rwhp depending on the tune I use Big Grin
1983 300D Silver Exterior/Black inside - Sold and will be missed, may we never meet in a PnP.
