BUT i towed for the first time with it today, 24ft tri axle trailer and a new 110 chassis on the back and i was i little disappointed because it seem to struggle? Guess the trailer etc was around 1500kg. Loads of revs and heat.
Is there a stronger box or a better torque converter or should i check the trans oil!

I bought my '99 e300 saloon so icould evaluate if it was the engine / gearbox combo i wanted for my landrover. I'm glad to say i like it
