Mocking up core motor in customers car, fabricating engine mounts using Cummins mounts. Used OM 648 rear sump oil pan to clear diff. Extended frame rails for radiator and fabricated core support sheet metal and fan shroud.

Some more progress pictures. Adapter plate for the AX-15 transmission (R150 Toyota) with a Jeep input shaft. Dakota bellhousing for a larger 10.5 clutch.

Intercooler and core support mounts.

Detailed engine ready to install with OM 648 pan and OM 603 pump.

Any more updates on this one, im just about to start a swap with a om606 and a toyota surf, looking for some input with tying together the toyota transmission with the merc lump and on fitment/space in the engine bay. Smile
