For those pack rats (like me), I am looking to trade/swap/or buy diesel fuel injectors.

A rebuildable core at the JY is $6, at least my local JY.

I am looking for matched sets of 5 for the OM617.9XX Engine. The sets themselves can be different.

Matched defined as all BAR 135 or all BAR 115, and all the same style, e.g., either long bottomed or not, and same nozzle holder, e.g., KCA ...5/4 or #46 or #48 per each set of five.

Not generally interested in a hodge podge of all different types of injectors (non-matched sets) since I got a bunch of those which will probably end up at .10 cents a pounds shortly since its about impossible to get a 1. A matching set, and 2. Getting them ready for sale.

No broken nipples, and folks generally know if something is rebuildable or not.

Right now, if you send me three (3) matched sets, I will return one set with the complete service, shipped CONUS back to you. If your nozzles pee or have a split cone pattern, I will swap out nice USED German nozzles that will all match. So, if you have #240/s, that is what you will get. If you have #261s, I have a limited number of those as well as #265s. HOWEVER, once the latter runs out, I only have #240/s, but I have at least 350-400 left of those, and out of those, I should end up with at least 6 to 8 sets of five good ones.

The set you will be getting back will look like new and will have nice spraying nozzles. I will include a video tape of them performing.

Please PM[Image: smile.gif]

OFFER IS PERPETUALLY OPEN. In other words, until I post no mas, send away.

No, all Bosch, German made sets are welcome. HOWEVER, please contact me advance. Because it always takes just one forum member ... lol, here are some rules:

1. No grab bag of injectors. So, please do not send 15 or so injectors which consist of 2 or 3 or these, and 2 or 3 or those ...

2. Matched sets means matched sets, please.

3. Please do not send injectors which are obviously not rebuildable, e.g., broken nipples.

4. Please do not sent injectors in varying stages of disassembly. Getting a bag of parts does not help out at all.

5. I am offering the service as the swap. IF you need a nozzle or two, I will provide those, German made, no extra charge. However, this is not for new nozzles. It's for the service, However, your injectors will not pee and they will be balanced, et cet., and in good shape for a number of years. I still run the injectors through the same process, and they will look like new, and perform pretty good and within spec. If it looks like your nozzles are truly on their last leg, I will provide German Made 240/s.

I hate creating rules and caveats, but it is truly amazing what some folks do ...

Hey no worries, I appreciate the information. Don't forget I'm a noob here and have been driving a 617 for only 2 weeks now. I'm hoping for some luck this weekend, I have 3 yards I can scour nearby and a few further out. I guess I need to figure out which ones are in mine.
