1979 Mercedes Benz 450 SEL 4.5 V8.

Car runs amazing and I could only imagine how well it'll run when the tune up is done. Great running project that's for sure. Parts are cheap and plentiful, find parts all over the junk yards, and these are easy to work on. Car has potential especially if you're into the whole stance scene. But, if you lower it and put some nice period correct wheels on it, you'd be all set. Or even better get some Euro bumpers and lights and it'll truly transform the looks.

Cosmetically it needs:
-Rear seats need reupholstering
-Headlight housings are cracked ($ damn near free at jy)
-Few tiny dings

Mechanically it needs:
-Valve cover gaskets ($15)
-Spark plugs ($24)
-Spark plug wires ($65-$100)
-Drivers side front and passenger rear window won't go down. Replaced fuse but still no luck. Will most likely be resolved in a day or so.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I have 3 Mercedes and 2 other cars so I am stretched a bit thin lol.

There aren't many cars that have the same road presence as a well done W116.

One more thing. Car needs smog and registration ($400). I'm not a CA resident I live here but because I'm military. I usually register my cars in Virginia which is my state of legal residence.

Anyway, I'm looking to off load this car soon. I'll put the price at $1000 negotiable. Anyone interested make me an offer please. Would hate to part it out.
