You should be able to have the oilcooler there as that motor comes with mechanical m-pump from factoryWink
Maybe you have the om602 mechanical m-pump with the funny lump on the back of the pump?

Are you sure these oilway items aren't full-flow and you'll be starving the bearings of lube?

Well OM606 uses front mounted oil cooler so for future reference could use a OM606 oil filter housing and connect the two oil fittings together in a loop? Assming it also blocks off the OM605 water fittings in the block?

hy there,
best way of doing: go in a scrap yard buy a oil filter support from a G o M, those come with oil radiator any motor have them, even the sangyoung 4 whellers. 601,2,3,4,5,6 are interchangeable, so anyone goes.
to cover the cyl head holes use expansion taps,(dont know the correct name in english) can buy them from MB or in any automotive retail store.
regards.
