45hp is what you get from a good adjusted 6mm element. You have not specified your engine so really hard to help you. AND this matter has been up in 1.000.000 threads already so try to read the forum.

If you have 4cyl take 45hp x 4 = 180hp
If you have 5cyl take 45hp x 5 = 225hp
If you have 6cyl take 45hp x 6 = 270hp

This is for om604/605/606 the older 601/602/603 makes less HP.

STOCK 6mm elements gives 38hp

And now you can make the math yourself.

Stock turbo hahahhaha you kidding right??? Stock turbo is for STOCK POWER.

I can help you out with all your manual transmission, clutch, flywheel, intake and exhaust manifold issues.

n00b question here too; does the 603s stock turbo gain any benefits on 606? I have a couple of good ones left over and they look bigger... Goal would be around 200HP with early spool.

if they look bigger it means later spool, also due to older design, and for 200 hp is not worth changing the turbo, a chiptuning for om606 is @215 hp Wink

So stock turbo is good for about 200HP? I just don't want to have it runing at the limit all the time Smile And OM603 is not exactely very late spooling. With automatic transmission lag is eaten mostly by the torque converter anyway... But that's good to know! Thank you!
