So after I sold my care to JB3 i am now seeing old diesel Mercedes everywhere.

mostly due to the fact that I work in a richer area with old guys. The mechanic next to my office has 3 w123 1 w113 2 w115 and I believe a w112/110

So yeah its getting to me.

Called it!
Eye feel jah, get storage and a workspace first. Then get yourself a heap, so you don't need to worry about those two items.

Also, nothing wrong with a 6.XL Ford in an old F250. Rougher than a merc, but still has that diesel feel.

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?

X2 + 100% what Simpler=Better said. Try NOT to make your DD your project. I have wasted at least 1 if not 2 years entertaining the following ritual: Get ready Friday night. Take it apart Saturday in the AM. Break something or realize something is "different" or I am missing something. Hussle and rush. Most of the time the rush or hussle is not worth it and you're not 100% happy. Sunday rolls around and you're stuck putting everything back together and you got very little completed. NEXT weekend: repeat cycle ...

Slightly. that's the better intake anyway. you'd probably want to change to the 123 IP. Idk if it is any bigger but it doesn't use that throttle flap vacuum wierd stuff. I also think there was a head or cam or both change at some point in time(78 or 79 iirc), upped the horse's just a little bit, like 5. I doubt those changes will make much of a difference with a turbo on it though.

IMO the 115 is a nicer looking car. Also it seems 115 have a much higher chance of being a manual, at least that's what my local CL has tought me. seen a few running driving, albiet rusty 115 with manual for 500 over here. and i like the front suspension better, though it might not handle better. 123 have that wierd i use the sway bar as part of my upper control arm thing goin on, kinda freaks me out.
