OM602 pump on an OM605
OM602 pump on an OM605
Basically I'm going to use the OM602 pump on the 605. It all bolts up no worries... However, I'm worried about the elements... Should I get the pumps rebuilt with the 605 6mm elements or can I run the 602 5mm elements? Will there be a significant drop in power?
Looking to get the engine in the car and running before I think about a bigger turbo or sending the pump to dieselmeken for crazy power!

It is the pump that decide the hp, so a na pump will give na hp figures and so on...I would send the pump to dieselmeken and get some beefy elements and 180+cc. You can ask him to set the pump to low cc output (can easily be done on the outside alda adjustment) so you can run the engine with stock turbo until you get a manifold and bigger turbo

Basically you get big elements fitted first time then adjust the max fuel down for normal power until you fit bigger turbo etc in the future.

Planned:
DIY manifold, compound, 722.6 controller, built IP.

You will have to pay the hefty fit and ballance fee a second time if you get the 5/6mm elements fitted then get bigger ones fitted at a later date.
