Working on the oil cooler install. Not sure if it is a good idea or not, might go for a matching cooler like the mocal ATF one by the OSF wheel..

Does fit honest..

Installed:

OM606/722.6, big IC, W220 brakes.
Planned:
DIY manifold, compound, 722.6 controller, built IP.
[i]Less rust..

Fitted 1.5 bar pressure relief banjo, with stiffer lift pump spring, not sure if I am happy with it.

Stock banjo is quite long so I had to get my friend HughF to make me an adapterizor:

Made a little drawing for him

Remote Bosch filter housing, 8mm lines but 10mm from filter head to the IP because that's what the fitting from hents99 was threaded for (m14).

Need to wire up the heater element and thermostat switch on that filter head. Does the thermostat switch operate a relay or is it 5-10A capable? Don't know.

With this connection at the pump the car turns off as soon as you turn the key?

No. In theory it will with one of Sean Treacy's maps. But that's yet to be tested.

I have one of seanyt's maps and it still runs on..

Thinking about it, when I fit the electric fuel pump which will cut immediately with ignition switched off, maybe that will stop the run-on?

What pressure are you both running in your FPR.
I still just use the stock banjo bolt with 0.5bar spring and it shuts off straight away.

Mine ran on before I fitted seanyt's ECU, I think its SOV delete related.

Cut apart the manifold again and re-tacked it so it actually fits as per..

All pipes fitted much tighter to the block, especially #5&6 because of steering box clearance on RHD.
