Same solution as hansebanger but mine only works above 40 kmh.. i think before the imput signal is to weak.

Tacho from E420 E500 and then using an Speedohealer v2 for converting the ABS signal from the differential to a correct value (y)

Engines are loosing torque at high rpm due to deminishing volumetric efficiency. In 12 valve engine it happens sooner than 24 valve. You can try raise boost to see if that will change results.

Swatmugga, here's a page with some good intercooler math.

I ran the math, thinking of making 350hp on my 603 and it looks pretty ugly considering the front end of a w124. The only way to avoid massive restriction in the intercooler is to use a vertical flow core. I'm going to try this one, which is barely adequate in terms of flow according to the IC page I linked to.
